A wow, I wonder if it was a pattern in the newspaper or somehow available to purchase. I have two made exactly like that, that I bought several years ago at an estate sale. Small world.

I inherited two wooden spool racks that my Grandfather made for my Grandmother to store her threads on. They never seemed to work well with the newer size of spools of thread. I have recently switched to buying Aurifil. The other day, I came across one of the spool racks and thought maybe the Aurifil thread will work. Dusted it off and hung it up the other day. Yippee!

The nice part is "it's from your grandmother". Oh how I wish I had anything of my grandmothers, anything at all.
