Oh I am trying to be ruthless as well. tossing quilt ideas I know I will never make etc. Didn't have as much time to work on it today, may do down after the F4 BB game.

Busy bee’s as usual. You’all must feel very accomplished! I’m a goal setter and it appears many are, as well. I may have to learn to give myself wider date spreads on my goals. I end up frustrated when I don’t meet a goal so I really need to learn to give myself a break and not be so hard on myself. Life interrupts...

We made two purchases this last week. We bought a new RV so I was able to unpack all our RV containers and organize the rig. Our last RV was smaller so this one has ton more space. Need to make new throw pillows since the color scheme is different. Bummer....lol..

We also bought a garden shed...more like a big barn. Expected delivery is Thursday so we’ll be lugging all the garden crap from the workshop and garage once the brackets and whatnots are installed by Hubbie. He’s been welding for a couple of days making what’s needed to hang, mount etc. I cannot tell you how happy I am about this project.

thepolyparrot and oksewglad: Continue being ruthless whether it’s quilt ideas or fabric!

Teen: How exciting to get a new and bigger RV. Is it a motor home? Enjoy your garden shed.

I am almost ready to start on the t-shirts! Bags to get rid of!

I removed all the stuff that was piled on the floor behind and to the right of my big cutting table. Most of it went into previously designated storage spaces (yay!) and some went into the trash. I also filled a box with stuff that doesn’t have a designated storage space, but that I want to keep and use for an art project I’ve got planned. The box is now stacked neatly in the hall waiting for me to make room in my studio.

I can now walk all the way around my table when sandwiching quilts- Hooray!!!

Teen, congratulations on your new RV. I’m sure the garden shed will be a nice addition as well.

Sounds like everyone has spring cleaning on their mind...keep up the momentum.

My studio/office is in a reasonably usable state of clutter. That's OK with me. Hopefully, today, when my knee feels better, I'll get to the finishing stages of my daughters twin size spreads. Ordered new LA patterns last "Good Friday". Maybe they'll be in the mail today.
So clean-up takes finishing a project. Too many UFO's in this space. And the next is organizing bills.

Gosh it seems like I haven’t had any time in my sewing room for at least a month-other than to set mending and patterns ( stuff) in the room. I did get the deck furniture out of the garage and onto the deck- so that’s some organizing. I am so hopeful that I will manage a little time tomorrow to at least organize the stack of mending- maybe even get some done and straighten stuff up a bit and more time Sunday I have a quilt loaded that HAS to be quilted- it’s not big- I need to get it done. I’ve reached a point where I’ve fallen behind and am feeling overwhelmed. Trying to remind myself that even baby steps are progress.

Ckcowl- yes, baby steps are progress. Sometimes when I'm feeling behind and overwhelmed it helps to find something small and fast to complete. For some reason that seems to help me break through the overwhelm. Is there one small thing that you can get done quickly? Might help.

My organizing is cutting and bagging the blocks for the Harriet's Journey quilt. Once I get about 10 cut, I can store the bag of fabric selections back in the closet and leave room for me to walk. Now what to do with my other fabric for those once a month quilt-a-longs I have committed to. Too much commitment makes for too much mess in my small quilting room. https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images...es/biggrin.png
