    my father made me the same cabinet in cherry wood . the only thing different he did was add casters to the bottom behind the legs

    Looking at the headline of this post, I don't think her husband made it himself - he had it made for her by someone else. Am I wrong about that?

    Lynn, that was the impression I got too. But either way he is a jewel of a husband to be so thoughtful and I know you feel so loved to receive such a gift. Thanks for sharing this with us.

    Ha ha, yes as a matter of fact, a widowed brother, too. But mine's the keeper

    As to the earlier post, yes, he had it made, he did not make it himself, but either way, its a great table.
