Default Sewing Space on the Cheap

Hi there. Just wanted to post pics of my sewing space. Over a few years I have accumulated things very cheap to use & honestly I love my little cozy nook that is half of my downstairs laundry room. (It is not super clean or super organized, so excuse any messiness you might notice). The desk & chair are yard sale, $15, re-painted. Wall cupboard from a salvage place, $10. Cutting table free from my parents. Crates for books were about $15 each & the white one was $1 at an auction, painted white by me. Ruler holder was about $6 at a yard sale, again painted white & I use cheap old mason jars, tin bread pans & other cheap things for storage. Love hitting yard sales looking for treasures!

I think it is very upcycled! Thats the latest phrase for all the little things we like to use to hold our stuff.

I love your room - it is so warm, inviting, and uncluttered. I would be in there for hours and hours. Thank you for sharing.

Cozy and tidy and I can appreciate the decorating on the cheap.
