Does anyone have this sewing table? What can you tell me about it?

I just looked at this on the Studio Design website then went to Amazon where it was under a $100. I read all the reviews and they are a mixed bag of comments. I sent the Amazon link to my husband and asked for it as a Christmas or anniversary gift. His reply back to me was "I'm really getting off easy for a 45th wedding anniversary gift." Of course, I told him he could make it up at Christmas!

If you have a large or heavy machine, Make sure you check the specs on the weight that the shelf will hold, some of these units were originally manufactured to be computer desks and the shelf was meant to hold keyboards, which weigh considerably less than most sewing machines. I looked at one that looked similar to that one and although it was rated to hold 25 pounds, my Kenmore weighs in at 27 pounds, so I went for the Arrow Gidget which was on sale last spring for $100 with free shipping.

Thanks. I'm thinking now it won't work for me.

I would want and have a larger table. As big a table as you can get and fit into your space would be my suggestion.
