Looked good before - I do have to agree that it looks more accessible now!

If I did it wasn't much. I moved some things around and got rid of some things, but the boards themselves have to take up some space. The real difference is that I can see a fabric, take it off the shelf, and put it back without disturbing a whole stack of other fabrics. A lot of the fabrics had gotten wrinkled in the stacks. That shouldn't happen so much with the upright arrangement.

Thanks...I ruler fold mine now and looks neat and tidy until I pull that fabric from the bottom of the pile and later try to put it back. Plus fabrics don't get lost in the pile.

Great job! It looks beautiful too. I wished I had that type of set up for storage but it doesn't work for me as the wals are very low, my room is in the attic and the side walls and roof are very low.

LOVE this idea. I am moving in less than a year, and this will be a great way to organize all my stash and have it ready for the shelves in my new sewing room. Now I will also know what size shelves to have the remodeler put in my room - thanks for posting. Ordering them today!

Wow, it does look like a quilt shop. I have stash envy.

I thought it looked pretty good before, but now it looks great! You’ll enjoy being able to see at a glance what you’ve got and the boards make it so much easier to get out what you want without disturbing everything else! Good job.

Doesn't it make a huge difference when your fabric is stored book-end style vs. in piles?!!! Beautiful - you must be proud of your stash!
