I live so close ( walking distance from an IKEA) ... way too many things that I find are quite quilter friendly. I had not spotted this one ... I can see strips sets in my sewing room hanging from the back.

If wall space is available, hang the chair from a Shaker wooden peg or two, and you can hang the quilts higher. Just another idea for all you to consider.

Perfect for displaying a couple of my vintage sewing machines on the seat and shelf! Wish you could have put the link.

Good use for it, I'd say. Odd little thing.

    Thanks.

Will do. My local quilt shop is trying to find an Amish distributor for them. He had one lined up but he sold his business but not the furniture so the new owners are trying to get things up and working. If I was going to Shipshewanna this year I would check there but was there last year and won't be going for the quiilt show this year.

Thanks. I just came across a ladder at gwizpro.com. It's a veteran-owned company. You might check it out. They custom-make and the price didn't seem bad. I'm thinking my son should make me one!
