    Default Vacation sewing space

DH & I went on a nice trip to the coast a couple weeks ago and rented a house with my cousin and his family. I brought along my new portable machine so I could do some sewing while I was out there.

I immediatley claimed this room as my sewing space. I loved this room so much...I sewed a complete King size quilt top (just simple big blocks) and also sewed up a whole 2# bag of scrap strips while I was there. I literally RAN OUT of fabric to sew on. Next time...I will bring 3x as much!

I didn't want to leave. You can see why...

That is absolutely beautiful! I can see why you got so much sewing done, I wouldn't want to leave that spot either!

What an inspiration! I use that same folding table for sewing in our park model RV at the lake. Nice and sturdy. Yep, take more fabric next time!

You were so very fortunate to have the VIEW. I wish I could have parked my machine next to you then we both would have gotten a lots done. We could have caught up with all the news known as gossip. Yep !

Wow here I am wondering how you got any sewing done, I would have found myself just staring out the window.

It's just a little folding table I picked up at a local hardware store. Cheap, lightweight, and adjustable height - very handy! It's a little bouncy so I wouldn't want it to be my full-time table, but for travel it's perfect.

I did a lot of that, too. I am a very early riser so I got to watch dawn happen from that spot each morning, and watch the full moon set into the ocean around 7AM. Absolutely gorgeous!!
