    I use white foam board (20" wide X 29 3/4 long and very sturdy. I buy them for a $1.00 a piece and I buy 10 at a time and I can cut them the size I want. I purchase them at the Dollar Tree and they hold up well for my fabric which I can then stand on a shelf that goes along a long wall and connects with the shorter wall (an L shape)

    I just fold large yardage with my 6x24". I mainly have 4 or more yards. When the pieces get smaller they stay folded.
