Default 5th annual UNL Employee Quilt Show

This Sunday we set up this years show. It is at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. For 2 weeks we show at the downtown campus. Then we move to the International Quilt Study Center & Museum on East Campus.

This year we have 14 quilters, and 35 quilts. We also are doing a Challenge this year - I think I have 8 entering.

Here is the poster for this year, with all the details. And here are links to our prior shows.

Looks like fun!! I don't think I'll make it, it's a bit of a drive. And then there's that white stuff you have up there. It's pretty to look at, but I have no clue as to how to drive in it. So, please post pics after the show!

I'd love to be there, but it's quite a drive for me too. Hope everything goes well for you and the show.

Today the quilters turned in their quilts so we can set up Sunday - oh, my - we are going to have another great show! They know I have a surprise for them, but not what. I am ginving them each a gift. Plus a special gift for the 2 quilters who have been in all 5 years. I will show more after we have it set up. Remember to come by and see if you are in the area! Otherwise, check back here and I will show you pics soon, I promise.

I would love to attend and meet you. What a contribution you are making, putting a quilt show together. Plus, this is a quilt show of employee's quilts. Thus, you are bringing employee's together in a positive way, and also being a great role model. Wonderful idea, I hope to one day rise to your level.
