I live about 60 miles from that area. Just a nice drive if one wants to take a little trip. --Linda--

Wrong month. I will be there in September for 10 days. Can't wait. First trip there. Any good quilt shops I should check out?

Too bad it wasn't in March. Our sailor son, stationed in San Diego, had an 8 wk course in Pearl Harbor. We were planning on visiting him in Ca but thought, why not Hawaii? I spent a lot of my non-visiting Ben time visiting various quilt shops and took an interest in Hawaiian quilts, it would have been so wonderful to go to a quilt show.
Oh well, mayube next year !

If she got a couple days leave, she could fly over to the Big Island. There is a lot to see here. --Linda--

I'll look for the name of the one I like on Oahu. (got your PM with that info) Can't think of it at the moment. Don't know any on Maui. Haven't been there for years. --Linda--

Where will you be visiting? If on the Big Island, stop in at Top Stitch in Waimea (Kamuela). I spent a lot of time (not to mention $$$) when living there. If on Maui, a friend of one of my sisters owns Keri Designs in Kula. Haven't been to her shop but have a few of her patterns and have visited with her at a couple of quilt shows here in the Los Angeles area.
