Anyone Going to Paducah?

The Museum, big vendor tent and the main show are all within a couple blocks of each other. Good sidewalks and a nice stroll. The big food tent is right outside the main entrance and the vendor tent is just across the street. You are one street over from Broadway when you are at the Museum. A piece of red fabric in your lapel might not be good enough though....I've seen various groups wear felt reindeer antlers, day-glo highway worker vests...'alien' antenna with springy ends...orange cowboy hats and of course the Red Hat Societies with 'full ensembles'...oh yeah...bicycle flags in backpacks. I'll be there Wed, Thurs and Fri. Heading to another garden get-together on sat. I'm local and know where everything is...don't hesitate to ask. Mom is a tour guide at the Museum and one of the YoYos. If I don't know...she will. Elanor Burns shop is about 4 blocks from the Museum, Hancocks and the Civic Center are a trolley ride,(free) as is Carson Park. (I think Elanor has some things out there) Caryl Fallert's studio is just across the street from the Show too. Ask away...I'll help you all get rounded up.

I just got back from the Museum. I supply them with silk scarves for the gift shop and they wanted to stock up for the show. Took a stroll through the galleries...nice! The Orange Peel Challenge was fantastic. They have former winners in the main gallery and art quilts in the other one. Dogwoods, azaleas and tulips are in full bloom and the city workers were spiffing up the streets. We're ready! Come on down!
