Thanks for the heads up...was planning to go to WA in February and can change the date to the beginning of March. My Seattle son always reminds me that you have to go in the rain/snow or you don't get to do anything in WA state.

yes -- I will be moving to Olympia. Dividing our time betweem Olympia in the colder months and Maine in the summer and fall.

I know, I know -- all my friends say "You're giving up Florida for WA in winter?????" But my new DH's sibs all live there and my son is in Seattle. We will fly back and forth.

The sad thing is that most quilt groups in Maine don't meet in summer so I will miss that. I hope Olympia has groups. From the ads I saw in front of homes about long arm quilting, I guess there are.

It grows and changes every year. It is the largest sewing show in the US. Maybe plan on 2012.
Are you moving to Olympia. You will only be around 40 miles from the show.... have a good drive out here.

I'll be there and would love to meet up with everyone. Last year we had about six or seven of us from thm the board meet and their friends. It was a lot of fun. I have my room reservations since last year and can't wait! This such a fun show. Check out the classes and lectures too! It's great! I'll be watching for the meeting place and times.

I'm going Thurs and just sent in for a ticket to Eleanor Burns presentation. I only go one day as I drive down from the Stanwood area of WA (almost 2 hours away) and don't want to spend the time in a motel so go down and back only 1 day. I do make as much as I can of the one day. If the meet up is on Thurs, let me know where and when.

I woudl love to go - unfortunately I live in North Caroluina. BUT my son lives in Kirkland and I have heard of this show. Perhaps 2012 would be a good year to go out for a visit!! Would it be possible for you - or anyone to post about this show when you all get back? I want to live vicariously through all of you lucky to attend!! Thanks
