I am so dumb. When Tinker and I were figuring dates I knew in the back of my head that CraftyBear had a Shipshewana event coming up. I did a quick search for "shipshewana" to find out her dates so that this one wouldn't conflict, and I found one that had a shipshewana event in September - so I thought we were not going to conflict.

Well I don't know what it was, perhaps I saw a post for last year or something. Dumb, dumb, dumb.

CraftyBear - again - I'm SO SORRY I went brain dead and completely missed the dates - I DID try because we are close enough geographically to draw the same "crowd" so to speak.

    Kicking self.

This sounds like a wonderful get-together! Unfortunately, I'm helping with my sons football team fundraiser that day (golf outing), so I won't be able to attend.

Have fun, and please let me know of any future get-togethers!

Thanks CraftyBear for the following suggestions - I'm obviously a rookie at setting one of these up so ....

All are free to come, not just "Illinois" people.

You are all welcome to invite guests, spouses, and well behaved children (misbehaving children will be given a puppy, a cup of espresso, and a large lollypop just in time for the car ride home).

ALL - please bring show-and-tell items, brag items, and anything you wish to share with the group.

This sounds great, but I will be up at the Mayo Clinic at that time, for 3 - 6 months. Hopefully I will be able to attend another meet & greet. Please let me know when the next one is. Thanks for putting this together.

I can't wait to find out about your next meet and greet, so I can plan on attending.

Sorry won't be able to attend. I am heading east to visit one of our daughters and to go to the Vermont Quilt Festival. As much I would love to meet fellow board members and visit this shop again I think I will stick with the VQS!
    I'll try next time.
