I can't attend the IL outing, too far to drive/fly for a one day event.

As for VQF, I have been the past two years, but am not going this year. I absolutely loved it, but it's a long drive and we usually stay there four nights. Lodging, meals and helping to pay for gas all add up and I just can't do it this year. Kathy, you're going to absolutely love VQF. I find the quilts there to be unique and very well made. They put a lot of thought and work into their quilts.

Sorry to hijack your thread Sue, just wanted to put in my two cents for Vermont Quilt Festival! If I only lived closer to IL, I would absolutely love to meet with everyone!

Sorry, I can't come, I forgot that is the night the fire department auxiliary has tickets for Starlight Theater. But I am going to drive down and look at the retreat rooms for a possible get together next year.

This sounds so wonderful and I would have loved to be there but we will be in Wisconsin and have guests coming up for the week. Have a great time. Look forward to hearing all about it. Yolanda Wood River

What time does it close-up? This would be my 1st and sounds like fun. I will have to see if friend is working all day or just till 1.

The LQS closes at 4:00. We will be going to lunch I imagine sometime around noon. After that either another LQS up the street or to the Farm Market.
