Great! Am anxious to hear about your class - is that the one on dyeing fabric?
Yes, are you taking it too? I'm also taking another by the same instructor, Jeanette Nicholes-- (can't quite remember her name) Monday and tuesday, her wed/ thur class was canceled.
No, darn.....I have to work :( Just going for the day of the show.

The forecast for Sat is 86*. I have been there when it was over 100*. Don't forget to wear a hat, good walking shoes, neck cooler and drink your water.

Quick Question: This will be my first year attending the quilt show. It shows that there are lots of displays for quilts...Amish, etc. Are those displays open all week? We will be there early Friday and would like to see some of them that afternoon.

The quilts for the show are hung outdoors on Saturday morning and taken down Saturday afternoon starting at 4:30. See this site for the details: http://www.sistersoutdoorquiltshow.org/index.htm

There is also the "Around the Block Quilt Walk" that features fiber arts inside the local businesses, during regular business hours: http://www.fiberartsstroll.org/

And this page has lots of other activities, some of which are Friday night, and some of which are free:

Hubby and I will be there, I am packing us a lunch to have while we all gossip and gab. I heard someone say the eateries will be packed so it's going to be a brown bag lunch gathering. :)
