I'm in Massachusetts and this sounds fun!

Sorry for the delay in responding ... didn't get a chance to get online over the weekend.

I will happily add you to the list!

Over the weekend I was doing some thinking... always dangerours! :-)

The question was raised about whether we all drive our own cars during the shop hop or try to carpool after leaving the cars somewhere safe.

Personally, I think carpooling is more practical and fun but that depends on having a safe place to leave the unused cars. Candlelite Quilts in Chelmsford, which I assume for now will be the starting point, has very limited parking but there is, I believe, a shopping center right across from it. If we leave only a few cars there, I wouldn't think it would be a problem.

Does anyone have a better solution? How would you personally feel about leaving your car there? Also, when I've been on other shop hops, the passengers pony up $5 each for the driver to cover gas. Opinions?

Not sure how it will all work out in the long run, but it looks like some people will be joining us along the way, plus, we all live in such different areas, that leaving the last stop might take us all on different paths to home.

I think once we have confirmed plans for where we will be visiting, that might make the car pooling decisions easier.

With the choices we have so far, there is a shopping center close to Candlelight. There is a shopping center close to Shamrock Quilts in Hudson, there is parking at Bits and Pieces in Pelham, there is parking at Pine Tree Quilts in Salem, but don't know about D&D, or Stitched in Stone.

    I agree with DMACKEY
We seem to be coming from all over the place and not all doing the Hop, so it'll be easier to figure pooling later.
Quilted Threads in Henniker has good parking. Unless they're having a special offering Columbus weekend, 15-20 of us park easily.

One of us has offerred to get us a discount for lunch or dinner at a "99" restaurant. Sounds good to me. I'm sure we'll be close to one or more of them, as we go along. Everyone agree?

There is a 99 Restaurant in Concord, only about 9 miles southeast of Henniker.
