Let me just say, that when I first went there 5 or 6 years ago, I thought I had entered the promised land---picture, if you will, Wal Mart sized store with nothing but fabric and sewing related items----and 11000 bolts JUST in the quilting section! As I recall, the prices were VERY good. I have been there one other time, about 2 years ago and I love it just as much. I would have fallen to me knees in homage had I been reasonably sure I'd have been able to get up again!

I go there every time I go to Portland (at least once a year). Plan on spending a couple of hours there just looking. If you don't have that kind of time then make sure you know what you want ahead of time. Prices are GREAT.

I would probably go more often if the driving in Portland didn't shave 10 years off my life everytime I go! It is a adventure every time I go.

I will be in that area in a few days to help make my moms holiday easier ( we lost my step dad 2 months ago ), so I was hoping to finally go to the FD and see what all the hype is about that huge store... Anyone know anything about it? is it as awesome as I have heard, or is that a little hyped up?
