I have ordered from Marshall's, too. Always been happy with whatever I've ordered. Isn't it wonderful that we can order fabric from all over the country--or maybe it isn't so wonderful!

Let me just say, that when I first went there 5 or 6 years ago, I thought I had entered the promised land---picture, if you will, Wal Mart sized store with nothing but fabric and sewing related items----and 11000 bolts JUST in the quilting section! As I recall, the prices were VERY good. I have been there one other time, about 2 years ago and I love it just as much. I would have fallen to me knees in homage had I been reasonably sure I'd have been able to get up again!

Yes, I shop there occassionally! If you are in the S.E. area of Portland, I recommend that you stop in!

I go there every time I go to Portland (at least once a year). Plan on spending a couple of hours there just looking. If you don't have that kind of time then make sure you know what you want ahead of time. Prices are GREAT.

I don't mind the traffic! Any time you want a buddy to do the driving, I'm all about going to FD! They do have a emailing list for those who are interested in being on it! I know they like to let us know what's on sale! :)

Anyone know anything about it? is it as awesome as I have heard, or is that a little hyped up?
Yes, it is awesome, I hope when you visit you happen to hit one of their great sales. Some times 30% off everything, sometimes 35% off fabric. I live only a few blocks away and I use their 40% off coupon all the time. If you get on their mailing list you get the coupons mailed to you or by email. Enjoy, you will be amazed.
