    Found this on another website.

    FOUND!... But Whose is it?

"...On Sunday, June 21st, one of my neighbors found a quilt on the westbound lane of Hwy 64 near Tarboro, NC. She says the quilt was wrapped in one of those plastic blanket packages. The quilt appears to be newly made, in wonderful condition. She says it is hand and machine quilting. There is no label attached and she cannot find a signature. She wants to return it to its owner, as she is a needle worker, and says she would be sick if she lost one of her works.

Well I know highway 64, Asheboro and Lexington NC. Have some quilting friends there. How about if I contact the quilting shops and tell them about you and a link to your posting here? Blessings, Ruth Scott Peterson

Bummer. You know someone is missing that quilt.

It is very nice of you to try to help find its home.

Boy I'd be majorly upset. Wonder if they had put it on top of the car while the got stuff settled and then took off?

Sad for them...but so lucky someone wants to help return it.

We've all seen this happen. Just last week I was driving on the highway and saw a woman's purse on top of her car, and she gave me the bird when I honked and pointed at her roof top. So I just drove on and let her pass, just wondered how long the purse would stay there. Was still on the car when I turned off the road.
