Default Going to Knoxville, TN - looking for thrift fabric stores

Hi. I would like to know if anybody in the Knoxville area knows of any fabric outlets that sell good quality quilt fabric at a discount price. I will be there for 4 nights next weekend. Thanks. Teresa

No discount fabric, but Mamaw's Thimble is reasonably priced for good fabric.

I just spent a good amount of money (in a good way) at Discount Fabrics in Tazewell, but it's an hour from Knoxville.

Coming further east - but not far is Dandridge. We have a LAQ there who also sells fabrics - threads, etc. in her store. A very small shop and fairly reasonably prices. Now, we have a new store in Morristown - large store, but again reasonable prices. The store in Dandridge is Calico Cottage and in Morristown - MMIJA (mee-ja). Don't know what part of K'town you're going to be in, but Morristown is about 45 min to an hour and Dandridge is a bit closer.
