Here's a pic of the little bags. I'll bring patterns for them to the retreat. They are super easy and the zippers are a snap.

Completed and over stuffed so it looks wonky

Yes, I was pretty much out of the colors on Saturday.

They are made from samples that I get from a fabric rep and are all batik. I don't know why but I've never made on that wasn't.

Whatever works! They are really cute! I just got a new pattern that has a zipper in it. Going to play around with it right now. It is made with patchwork squares but I think I'll just use one piece to practice on. Just in case I don't like it!

I can do 25 to 30 in a day when I need to. I love these little bags. They are a little gift that I can fit almost anywhere and most people like them. It beats carrying around heavy bars of soap which is my other vice.

Wow! 25-30 zippers in one day! I'd be nuts!! Do you switch to a zipper foot?

It's bag not just zippers. No, I use a regular foot. I use an edge joining foot to do the top stitching but you wouldn't have to. I just don't want to have to pay attention to get it straight.

Are you going to do a tutorial here on the QB for this or just the retreat?

Probably just the retreat for now. I will just show them with some step by steps that I have and have basic visuals. Here's hoping I can steam the wrinkles out of them because they are a mess from being carried back and forth.

I need more surgery on my shoulder and it's hard for me to do things like that right now.
