Galleria area - but still working a 40 hour week. Everyone have fun! Maybe someday I can meet with all of you!

Darlene: I'll probably come see y'all next week. (DD4's school is getting started Wednesday - we need to get settled this week!)
I think I've seen where you are talking about. Isn't there an Armory or something like that around there? Where in the park do y'all meet?

I've been meeting with a church quilting group on Tuesdays since January and really enjoy it!
We make quilts for Wounded Warrior Project and Ronald McDonald House as well as a large quilt that is raffled for mission fund-raising.

As for setting up a meet & greet:
Tomball or Louetta/249 area would be a good area to meet as well.
It seems that may be quite a bit closer than the Woodlands for several people. :)

Our Thursday bee group would love to have you come. I just received word from our bee leader (Teresa) that Kroger is having meetings and will need the upstairs meeting room this Thurs. and next Thursday.

If you would like to call me, here is my home phone number. I have jury duty in downtown Houston tomorrow.

Look forward to talking to you!

Our group would love for you to come and visit. I just found out that we will not be able to meet this Thurs. and next Thurs. because Kroger has employee meetings and will need the upstairs area.

If you would like, give me a call so we can visit.

    Thanks,
    Kathy Clark

Hi, as you know I am too far away. Hope it goes well. See you soon.

Hi, I'm in The Woodlands, and I too have a conflict (bee) on Thursdays. There actually may be so many of us that it's hard to find a place!

I will check around the Louetta and 249 area but I will not be able to do so until after Sep 15th. I will be going to OK for a couple of weeks to help my sister take care of some of our folks who are not well.
While I am there 3 of out cousins will be meeting us and we plan a sew fest!
Hopefully when I am back my renovation in the garage will be complete and I can have the longarm delivered.

How many of use are interested? It would be helpful to have a some kind of count.
I for one am pretty easy. I am not a crack of dawn get it done kind of person. I do not mind night hours. I do not have regular comittments on regular days (newly retired but still have some work I do from home).
So Any day, any time for Wini and Evelyn.

Unfortunately, your bee is too far away from me.
By the time I drop DD4 off at school @9:00 and drive there...
I'd be having to leave perhaps only an hour later to make it back to pick her up. :(

Maybe we get a group together for lunch at Red Robin near 249/Louetta one Wednesday?
If we arrive at 11:00 we'd beat the lunch rush. :)

I'm thinking that if we have an idea of how many would come out, I'll call RR and see about reservations.
They may not require any... but it would be nice to know.

    How does this sound?
Would a Wednesday work better for everyone?
    Is Red Robin acceptable?
If not, Goodson's in Tomball makes great chicken fried chicken and chicken fried steak. (Calorie-free, of course!)
