I'm a Houstonian, I've been going to the show for 20+ yrs. We never miss it ! Sightseeing just depends on how long you're staying ... Lots to see around downtown/midtown and the Museum District is close by too. You really DO need at least 2-3 days just to see the whole show ! There are bus Shop tours too if you have time. The class catalog doesn't come out until mid-summer, but sign up ASAP if you want to take classes ! :)
