Oh, yes. I go every year and have for the last 15 years. I used to drive down, get my own hotel reservations, deal with luggage and check in. Then about 8 years ago I started going with a tour group. Two buses pick us up at various locations in central Texas. Tour director handles everything. Bus drops us off at the door of the convention center and we have our tickets in hand. Walk right in and the fun begins. Wouldn't miss it.

Back 10 years ago or so, the Houston Quilt Guild arranged for shuttle buses to pick up at four of the hotels about every 15 minutes. However, I seem to remember hearing last year that they were no longer providing that service but since I have not been using the service in recent years, I am unsure.
