Inviting all Indiana quilters to the Boone County Quilt Show this Saturday!
I hope to see you at the 4TH Annual Boone County Extension Homemakers Quilt Show this Saturday, April 28TH from 9-3 in the Witham Pavilion at the Boone County Fairgrounds in Lebanon, IN. Take I65 to exit 138. The fairgrounds are right off the exit. There will be vendors to shop, quilts to view and several informative demonstrations, including a quilt turning by 3 generations. I will be there all day around the stage area. I would love to meet you. Just ask for Brenda. Admission is $3, parking is free and lunch is available.

We need to change our date so it is not always the same time as Paducah. I know you will all have a great time there.
Thank you Sweetana for telling where Lebanon is. The fairgrounds are right off exit 138. There are 3 Lebanon exits (138,139,140) off of I-65.
Stitching post - Sometimes the places you would never think of going for fabric are the ones that have special surprises.
I grew up outside of Scottsburg, IN just 30 miles north of Louisville,KY, but I don't know where Marion,KY is?

That is really right about the special surprises. We went to the Bloomington IN quilt show this year and they had the best ever garage sale room( in addition to great quilts and friendly ladies). Oh, so many special things to buy. Fabric all $2 per yard and LQS quality. Boxes of books and patterns. Heaven. I even got a huge box of yarn for my mother in law and met the woman who donated it. The local shows are my favorites since they are showing quilts made by people like me and over the range of experience from beginner to master. The Paducah quilts are more like artworks and something I would never even attempt but lovely to look at.
I met a grand prize winner once and she said she spent 4 years on her quilt.

And I am in Indiana Saturday too! But my grandson would not enjoy celebrating his 7th birthday at a quilt show anyway. So it will be soccer, baseball and hot dogs on the grill in Nobelsville. Enjoy the show and We will look for photos!
