Default In the Kansas City area end of next week?

If you are, the KCRegionalQuilt Fest ( www.kcrqf.com ) is happening at Overland Park Convention Center, College Blvd and Lamar Ave on June 13-15.

600+ quilts, lots of vendors, demos, classes, 2 Ricky Tims concerts and a silent auction of mini's at Preview Night (Wed).

This odd # year only event is put on by 19 KC region guilds.

I am looking forward to classes on the long arm with Julia Quiltoff and Dorie Hruska!

Glad to see your post. I was wondering if all the high water would affect the Fest. There is a bus load coming from Stockton, Missouri on Friday to enjoy the quilts and vendors.

nope, water not an issue--except if you are coming from either Tulsa or Omaha areas (or I guess Ft. Smith AR) you will have a longer trip. But otherwise good! We are expecting mid-70's and sunshine (or at least that's what they are saying now--but if you are a Midwesterner you know what that's worth!)
