Lebanon, Oregon Quilt Show October 8-9, 2011
#1
The Santiam Scrappers Quilt Guild is hosting a quilt show in Lebanon, Oregon on October 8-9, Saturday and Sunday. We've had approximately 200 quilts at our previous shows and hope to have about that number this time. Jean McDaniels, a local longarmer and fabulous quiltmaker, is our featured quilter. There will be a few vendors, including a scissor sharpener, as well as silent auctions and raffles.
The ladies from Latimer Quilt and Textile Center in Tillamook will be doing a bed turning with a selection of historical quilts from their museum on Saturday. There will be several free demonstrations on both days. I'll post more when I have the agenda.
We invite the public (that's YOU) to enter quilts in the show. There is no fee for quilt entry. If you would like further information about entering a quilt, please send me a pm with your email address. (Your email address does NOT come to me automatically with a pm - you have to send it as part of the message.) I will then email you the entry forms, which have all the information. Instructions for how to send a pm are at the end of this message.
We also invite all of you to come to the quilt show. Here are the particulars:
Saturday, October 8, 10:00-6:00 and Sunday, October 9, 10:00-5:00
Sand Ridge Charter School, 2900 South Main Road, Lebanon OR 97355

I am there. Can I volunteer to help? I am no longer an active member of the guild, but have enjoyed all the quilt shows since I moved to Lebanon. PM me if they need volunteers.
