You have to go to Quilters Corner in Lexington. The shop has lots and lots of beautiful fabric and a sale room downstairs. The people who work there are so nice and extremely helpful. My son lives there and every time we visit I have to make a stop. Google them they have a website for directions.

She has a lot of repros (30's, feedsack and Civil War), thimbleberries, Jo Morton, lots of Kona cottons, etc. all at $5 a yard. She's having a big sale on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving.
We have classes there (I'm doing the Circuit Rider once a month), and we have an excellent club as well!
We'd love to have you!
Blessings!

I live in southeastern KY...welcome to this board! It is wonderful! I go to Lexington at least once a month; ( 120 miles one way) did not know of these quilt shops! I always get to Joanne's and the Joseph Beth bookstore. Guess I'll have to make a quick trip over very soon! Welcome to the unbridled spirit of Kentucky

I visited my sister near Lexington 2 years ago and went to some of the quilt shops. All I can tell you is be careful - - one of the quilt shops (I don't remember the name) still RIPS the fabric instead of cutting it with a rotary cutter. I couldn't hardly stand it! I bought an adorable Christmas fabric that had a black background with elfs on it and I lost 2 inches on each side of the fabric because of the ripping. Maybe by now they have changed their practices. I surely hope so!! But keep an eye out!
