Hello
I am from Waupun/Beaver Dam area with Nancy's Notions about 10 minutes away. I taught crochet for about 5 years and have done it much longer but my mother and two sil's quilt so I am starting that now. I have done just simple ones in the past - you know -when embroidery was still done all by hand. It AMAZES me what my sil's machines can do now-although mom still does ALL sewing on an old 'treader' and does the quilting all by hand.

welcome to the board... I belong to the Four Rivers Quilt Guild in Tomahawk. There is also a group of us that meet on Monday morning at the quilt shop and just sew and visit... have lunch together and a little devotion after we eat... it is great to meet new quilters in the area...

Hello!
I am from Fond du Lac! I (sadly) missed the quilting expo in Madison, but I am thinking I will try to find time to make it this year! I just wish I had more time to quilt! But thankfully I can scope out this board at work!
:)
