Was there ever a date set for the Brighton get-together? I probably missed it but wondered when it was. I would like to know when the future ones are. It would be so nice to meet some of the other MI quilters. Take care.

Brighton Get together......If someone was waiting for me to set the date....I never heard from anyone who was interested in coming to Brighton.....Give me some dates and I can try to set something up....

No, we didn't set a date yet. Does anyone have a date in mind? Being that it is already Nov. and Thanksgiving is coming up, what would you all think about the first Saturday in December - the 4th. Will check with the shops to make sure it's a good date. Do you all think the previously suggested plan is still good? Hmm - let's see if I can remember what it was . . . . . I know - check out the first post. Or I will repost it. If the plan and date sound OK - PM me or post here and I'll make arrangements. If you want to suggest an alternative date that's OK too. I suggested a Saturday so those that work during the week could possibly make it. Otherwise a Tues. or Wed. But let's try for 12-4 and see how that works for everyone.

Meet at Creative Quilt Kits - 8599 W. Grand River, Brighton (this is where raspberryparade09 works)
Next stop will be Monarch Quilts between Brighton and Howell (2100 Grand River Annex, Brighton)

We can have lunch at: Grand River Grill, 2394 Genoa Business Park Dr, Brighton
It is just before Monarch Quilt shop (by PDQ printers). It has a green roof and large windows.

Then we take off to:
The Stitchery, 1129 East Grand River Avenue, Howell
Wendy's Simple Stitches, 1122 Pinckney Rd./S. Michigan Ave, Howell
There's also a wonderful little shop in Pinckney, if we have time:
Jennifer's Quilt Shop, 149 N Howell St.

I will check with the shops and find out their week-end and weekly hours. Will post that after I contact them. Maybe they would do some 'surprises' for us.

December 4 is fine for Creative Quilt Kits. We can also do a weekday also. This sounds like fun. I can't wait to meet some of my fellow Michiganders on the quilting board.
