Great - it will be fun to meet. Of course you're allowed. This is open to anyone on the board. The last one we did a couple of gals brought friends (who just happened to quilt also).

Talked to a couple of the shops today. Told them we'd be doing an "unofficial" shop hop on Dec. 4. One shop will give our group a 15% discount and a small gift each. Another mentioned either a 15% or 20% discount - the owner wasn't in so she would check and let me know. All 4 shops close at 4 but one gal said if we were there longer that it wouldn't be a problem - they would stay until we were done. I will need to call them all with a final count so they make sure they have enough staff to help us. They said they didn't want us to have to wait to be helped. They were all so nice.

So far there are 5 of us. I hope we get more.

I would love to come, but December is not a good time for me. If you decide later on to meet again in Spring or Summer, I would love to try. It would be great to meet other members.

I would love to go but my hubby and I do an annual Christmas hop of our own on the first Sat of the month. We go to Pride & country in Saginaw(a great group of storse where you can buy lots of gifts, furniture, etc) then we head east to Caro for the gingerbread festival and then keep going to Port Sanilac. More shopping and any quilt stores close on the way. FromSanilac we go to Lexington and they have a fantastic Christmas walk at night throughout their town. A few years we spent the night there at a B&B but not always. So if you decide to go again after I would love to go. Have fun

Should we reschedule? We are down to 3 now. Does anyone have another date they would prefer. Remember this is not etched in stone. I'm flexible. Would the 7th (Tues) or 8th (Wed) be better for you all?

With with the holiday's coming, everyones schedule often fills up faster than we realize. Do you think January might be better?

I'd still like to go December 4. Ginga and Sunkistmi and myself are planning. We have a couple of "tentative"s. I want to go just for the fun of meeting other board members.

And we can plan for a January one also. I don't think the shops would mind. I do understand how our schedules get full. Where did this past year go? It seemed to fly by.
