I wish I had read this before I went, so I could have searched out Sandys quilts I couldn't go until Sunday. Totally not enough time and I didn't even stop to eat or anything else. .. I Had a really fabulous time , met some really cool people . Took over 300 pictures. Bought very little since I don't want to pack it. Some hand dyed scrap packets, a peice of green from Uganda, some buttons and a vintage hand towel.
I found this link with pics from this show and about halfway down the page you will see Sandy's quilt: Tropical Thunder Glacier Quilt. http://blueheronquilts2.blogspot.com/
Thank you for posting the pictures. I went Saturday. I opened and closed the place, but felt there was so much I missed. Sandy's quilt was one of those quilts you just wanted to study. It was like looking at the perfect sunrise. It takes more than a gance.
