I was just wandering if anyone else was planning on doing this. I am a new quilter and I am planning on going. I think it sounds like a lot of fun and I maybe I will learn a few things along the way too.
Was also wondering if anyone had attended one of these in the past. If so, should I go ahead and take all three days to do it or should I just try to get it done in one day.
I was thinking shopping, petting fabric :), having lunch, more shopping :).
Here is a link to more info about it. :D

My sil and I have done a few quilt hops. We realyy have a good time we break it up into two days. A couple of shops we only spent enough time to sign in get card stamped get our pattern bought something cheap which we had to do to get pattern ( which we won't do anymore,) A few shops people very rude , or shops had foul smell. We rated shops from + 10 to a - 10 But we got neat patterns

1st day went great. I had a great time :) I am so excited about tomorrow that I cannot sleep.
I found some AWESOME fabric for a OBW. It is wildflowers; actually it is too pretty to cut. I will try to post a pic of it. The bolt jumped off the shelf and screamed at me. LOL....
I ran into another group of quilters from the area and we raced from shop to shop seeing who would get there first and then waiting on each other at the shop and talking, petting fabric and sharing stories. It was AWESOME !!!!
Anyway, I am just babbling, I really should be getting to bed to try to sleep. I intend to leave for day two in about 6 hours. :)
Thanks for listening to me ramble on.... :)

Talked to my sil last night she was getting her plan of action ready for saturday we plan on being at the first shop when it opens and hitting the last one before they close. Some of them are right next door to each other.

2nd day of shop hopping. Boy I am tired, lol. Got stuck in traffic today, guess there was a game or something today, plus normal friday traffic.
I still have to hit the two in Arlington and the one in Fort Worth and somehow I missed the one in Colleyville, so I must go by there to and then I will be done.
I have made so many friends doing this and I have tons of stuff... :) Fabrics and patterns and The Farmers Wife book :) I am so glad I found it. I was checking at every store and finally found it.
The Rockwall store is WAY out there, takes forever to get to. If it is on the shop hop next time, I will go to it first thing.
I have had a ton of fun. Definately will do again. :)
