I would like to go and also take a friend, unfortunately she has difficulty walking and does have handicap parking privilges. Last time I went you had to park up abvoe and walk quite a ways to get to the building where they had the quilt show. Does anyone know about accomodations for handicapped people? thanks

Roxanne, glad you found us here. Are you interested in carpooling? We're planning to leave Beaverton at 11am and should be in Silverton about noon.
YES - that sounds wonderful. Pitch in for gas?
My car is now full! That makes 5! Please PM me and we'll figure out a place to meet you! Sharing the cost of gas would be fine.

The Sisters Quilt Show is THE BEST! I live about 80 mi from there, so don't stay overnight--but I leave here very early. It is always held the 2nd Sat in July, and you can count on it being HOT. Last year I was all set to go, then the night before we had unexpected company from WA stop by -FOR THE WEEKEND - so had to bow out. There was a group from this board that met up there.
EVERY quilter should go the Sisters Quilt Show at LEAST once in their life! :)
