    "STITCHES IN BLOOM" Quilt Show
at the Oregon Garden, Silverton, OR
    January 28th & 29th, 10am - 4pm

featuring Marsha McCloskey who will speak daily, display some of her quilts, and offer a 2 day workshop, "Feathered Star" on Jan 26th-27th. call 503 874-2536 for more info.

Okay, friends, when is best for you to attend? I like to go the first day, Friday, but I know several of you can't go until Saturday. If we choose to meet on Saturday, I suggest EARLY. In previous years it has become very crowded. We could meet, say 10:00am, at the small gift shop where you purchase your tickets before entering the pavillion. I will be entering a quilt

Bring money - they have lots of vendor booths ;-)

I live in Lebanon, and do not drive. Anyone want to car pool and have help with gas? PM if interested.

Either day is fine with me! May I make a suggestion? We wear name tags with our avatar, Board name and real name on them? Am getting confused with who is who. If I can figure out a way to do it, I'd be happy to make for every one!

Theresa, that is a great idea  I THINK the only way you could get the avatar pix is for everyone to email them to you (from their photo files) so you could print them off from your computer...but then I am certainly no techie when it comes to that kinda stuff

    Laurie,

Mine printed a perfect size for a name tag just by doing a right click on the avatar! 1.25"x1.50" Then, just need to add the Board name and "real" name!

If anyone has a more efficient method, please add to thread.

I want to go but will likely go on Friday around noon and stay for the afternoon. If someone from the Portland area wants to go send me a note. We'll carpool!
