    Faith:
Glad the shop was open - guess I was thinking of another place.

So inquiring minds want to know: what are you gals making with Asian panels?

OMG...the Helvacia Tavern! Brings back some memories from when we lived in Banks WAYYYYY back in 1979. They had the best burgers in the county back then, too!

    Laurie,
We are making wall hangings with them. Put them together as a sandwich and stitching them with gold thread where the panel has gold lines.
Karen finished hers and it looked AWESOME!!!!!

Come on out and join us Laurie!

Faith~DH works that day (poor thing  ) I try not to rub in the fact that I have Fridays off for the next few months. I'll PM you with plans.

I am looking forward to the Asian panel for a wall hanging. I can give something like that to DS and DIL and the $#@* cat won't be chewing it up. That cat has ruined soooo many things that they own. I am not giving them a quilt until the cat is gone.

You all crack me up! I would love to be part of the asian wall hanging club but I simply cannot afford it. Oh well, I have plenty of other projects to keep me busy.

My calendar is pretty much wide open except for the second half of August - I think I am going to mozey to Virginia for 10 to 14 days then. But any other time than that is just fine with me. Do you all want come up in September, October or November? Any time would be fine. Throw out some dates that we can pass around and see what works best for the majority. Oh I am getting excited just thinking about it. Here are the fabric stores nearby: JoAnn's 2 1/2 miles, Material Girls 3 miles, Pacific Fabrics 9 miles, Heirloom Quilts 10 miles, Kingston Quilt Shop 15 miles and last but not least Quilted Straits 18 miles.

    Thanks for asking,

If those dates work so Cindy doesn't have to actually catch a bug, I'd say go for it! :)

Faith, I'm open to more panels...:)

That would be my kid's b-day weekend. (One is Nov 3rd, the other Nov 7th) But we'll see.......
(I truly understand how hard it is to accomodate everyone's life's schedules--at least I don't have to worry about work. RETIRING OCTOBER 1st. Woooohooo!)
