My calendar is pretty much wide open except for the second half of August - I think I am going to mozey to Virginia for 10 to 14 days then. But any other time than that is just fine with me. Do you all want come up in September, October or November? Any time would be fine. Throw out some dates that we can pass around and see what works best for the majority. Oh I am getting excited just thinking about it. Here are the fabric stores nearby: JoAnn's 2 1/2 miles, Material Girls 3 miles, Pacific Fabrics 9 miles, Heirloom Quilts 10 miles, Kingston Quilt Shop 15 miles and last but not least Quilted Straits 18 miles.

    Thanks for asking,

Hi Sherryl, I can make a November get together. In the mean time, would you like some help putting together the star blocks? I would love too get out of town for a couple days. Pm me.
Thanks for all the wonderful times at our Lincoln City retreat. It was so very enjoyable and I have been so glad to meet all you new ladies. Trish

Oh so very sorry, PattyJo, to hear about your brother. There is just nothing more heartbreaking than having a family member suffering. Please know that you and your family are in my prayers.

PattyJo: I'm so sorry about your brother. We have already put him in our daily prayers. Your family is also being prayed for. Hugs to you and your family and your brother.

Nov. seems so far away....CAN I WAIT THAT LONG? I would lOVE to come to the retreat. Blizzards are good....the ice cream kind, not the snow kind. I'm with Pattyjo...I think I'll forego any casino visits this trip. The last casino marathon I participated in took me a week to recover.

CBridges, I feel so sorry for your poor body....it suffers some pretty rigorous maladies for a day off. Keep up the good work! You add sooooo much fun and laughter to the retreat mix of wonderful ladies.

Stitchy65, good luck on your new job! I'm praying you are the successful hire for the new position you are applying for. They will surely see you are one of the nicest, best qualified candidates they have interviewed for the position.

Sherryl, trying out your long arm would be such fun. I've wanted a LA forever and passed on the chance to get one a few years ago when that was what my DH said he wanted to get me for Christmas/birthday and I told him not to as I didn't think I was a good enough or knowledge enough quilter to have a LA....was I nuts? The offer has never come up again! :-(

Karen, I'm so happy for your children and your family. There is nothing more wonderful in the world than a new baby. Bet you can't wait. We have our 3rd great grand baby (a pink model) due Aug. 4th. She'll be the second girl and one great grandson.

I'm packing my bags for November!

I've confirmed that I'm not going to be able to make it in November! :( Maybe we can have a get together between now and then? Anybody want to host for the first time? I'm willing but thought that others might like a chance. Preferably a Saturday? I love that we all have lots of new friends!

Whatever will we do without all your wonderful organizing skills, Karen :?: :?: ( Altho, I'm sure Sherryl will do fine )

I have been considering hosting one of our regular get togethers, but right now am waiting to see a Neurosurgeon....and can't forsee what he may have in store for me. We'll see.......
