Here is one in Cannon Beach that looks great and is $195 a night with 2 night minimum. http://www.visitcb.com/vacation-rent...geDataID=35620

Plus it would be a little further north for the Washingtonians. I could possibly even come down for 1 day and night.

    Thanks,
    Sherryl

Great price, but would it be enough beds? Also, thought there wasn't a lot of workspace...altho we could use the pool table for a cutting table! LOL

It is not avasl. the last weekend in Oct. either.Where would work for you Washingtonians? What area?I was thinking the closer to Astoria the better or we could look somewhere in southern Washington,I just don't know the area,if you would help look or tell me where to look I would be grateful.
Do we keep posting here or on the new one I started since a few new people have expressed a interest? Cindy

Keep on both Cindy, I think they'll catch on and you can move to the new one very soon! There might be something in southern WA but unfortunately don't have time to help you find something! I found the last one on VRBO at www.vrbo.com

Hope that helps! I'll be taking my computer to the beach this weekend and will keep tabs on both threads!

I have a suggestion for a get-together. One of my guilds is having our bi-annual quilt show on October 8 and 9 (Saturday and Sunday). It's in Lebanon, which is south and east of Salem. We would love to see everyone there. Admission is only $4, and there's an excellent quilt shop in Lebanon. If you live nearby, you're also invited to enter your quilts in the show. There's no charge for that (no judging either).

That would be fun--especially for those that can't get away for a whole weekend. I have numerous quilts I could enter

I read about that on the flyer the Santiam Scrappers were giving out at the fair. I was actually thinking about attending their next meeting. I will probably be going to the quilt show to.
Here is their address. http://santiamscrappers.wordpress.com/ if you want to check out their blog.

Oh, I do hope you will come to the next meeting - it's this coming Tuesday at 7:00. (first Tuesday of every month) I should have thought to put in the blog address, so thanks for that too. I helped with hanging the quilts for the fair - there were some very nice ones, many of them made by the ladies in the guild. (And no, I didn't enter any.)
