I don't want to seem like a baby but I want to enjoy myself and visit with everyone and I feel that with crutches this will not be possible. I also drive a stick and this really won't work with just one foot. I'm pretty embarrassed by all this and hope that you will be having another get together that I will be able to attend in the future.

After just getting Razzed by hubby on the phone for bowing out, I am taking Karen up on her offer to pick me up.

Boy, we were starting to drop like flies! Faith, I'm so sorry to hear about your owwies. I'm glad you can still come and hope we can distract you enough that you can enjoy a couple of relatively pain-free hours. We'll bring you treats and coffee (or tea or water or whatever sounds good). Thanks, Karen, for offering Faith a ride! What a great bunch of quilters we have here, yes?

Just to let you know I am bringing a treat with me as well. Hubby is picking the supplies up on the way home from work. What a guy!!!

Got my chores done, so let's party!
