Default Oregon's First Quilt show- Salem OR

Had a great time at this first annual Quilt Show down in Salem Oregon. Over three hundred quilts to see. Would have been nice to win some of the prizes. Looking forward to doing it again next year.

Nice! I thought the Sister's quilt show that's been going on for a while was in Oregon or am I wrong?

Yes, Oregon has lots of quilt shows, with Sisters being the most famous. I think he's referring to the 1st annual Oregon Quilt Festival, which is new to Salem.

When I lived in Oregon (Albany) there was never a shortage of quilt shows to attend. The MidValley Quilt Guild in Salem holds a wonderful show every other year at the fairgrounds in Rickreall, and Quiltopia is held every year in Salem with proceeds benefiting Helping Hands. There's the Northwest Quilting Expo in Portland, the fairly new Willamette Valley Quilt Festival in Albany, and many many more.
