Hey to anyone in the North Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens Florida area....

Laura's Sewing and Vac (a GREAT sew store, btw) is starting up a new Thimbleberries Club program. You can check it out online, it's a national Thimbleberries Quilting deal... a year long... options for a large bed quilt or just the small related projects (runners, wall hangings, etc.). There are two colorways..light and dark. Check out the Thimbleberries website for more details. (I am not affiliated with Laura's or Thimbleberries...)

If there's anyone in the Florida area, that would like to join with me? Laura's is a great shop and does a lot of sewing biz, but this is the first quilting only club she's sponsored. The nearest other is 40 minutes away. So I would like to see more than 4 people sign up for it! I would like to see Laura offer more quilting options, but she'll only do so if people sign up! She's a BabyLock/Brother dealer too.

    Any takers?

Hi All,I just wanted to add that I took a serger class at Laura's. Laura lent me a serger to us in the class. As I am a part timer in Florida. She is so generous, The class and an educater, kit, lunch, and snacks. All for $25.00. I have never taken a class of that caliber for less then 75-100$$.
I can't say enough nice things about Laura and her shop.

Totally agree about Laura's shop. I purchased a serger, the Evolution, and sewing machine (Babylock Quest) from her. I'm north of WPB near the other LQS. Fortunately for us, her brother & sister-in-law opened a store in Martin County.
