SueBee: I live in Gilbert and just saw your idea of meeting up at Phoenix Quilt Show on 27th. I'd love to meet others. I just registered - Been checking this site for a couple months but I want to meet more women w/quilting passion like myself. Please give me the time, etc. on 27th.

Hi Rosy - I used to live in Gilbert. Love it there, downsized and ended up in n/e Mesa. That would be great if you came to the show. Its a blast. I should be posting the details (time and place) to meet by end of next week. Keep your eyes peeled. Would love to meet you as well. Welcome to the Board.

Sorry, I can only attend on the 27th. I understand your long drive. Maybe when I send out details on meeting place for the 27th, I can include an a time and place for the 28th as well.

Rosy, what a generous offer! Thank you. Let me see how my schedule looks. I am the office administrator at our church and our annual business meeting is scheduled for Sunday the 30th after church, which I must attend. If I can get the majority of stuff done for the meeting I could leave Wed afternoon, spend Thursday at the quilt show, be back Thursday night, finish up at work on Friday. Just typing makes me tired! Either way, thank you for the kind offer. I'll keep in touch and let you know.

I went to local sew/vac place Saturday and lady gave me a free ticket -good for all 3 days IF I have my hand stamped. So call you local shops to see if they have any freebies .....see ya'll SOON !!! anybody in Mesa area want to car pool ????

I meant to say 'just typing all that out makes me tired', not typing makes me tired. Good grief, it's a good thing today is my day off :-)
