OMG, my daughter lives in Sulphur. How cool is that?
Oh, and welcome to the board! |
Hi prl1960. I live in Sulphur. Ada doesn't have any type of quilt store other than Wal Mart. Sulphur is lacking in ALOT of things, so is Davis. The store I like best is in Ardmore. It is the Ardmore Sewing Center. They are so nice. It is Emmy and Lynnett. Their store is really neat. Then I also like the one west of Pauls Valley, Would have to take you. Can't give that good of directions. There is one at Allen, also. I like the one in Durant. I want to check out ones I have heard of in Antlers. Good luck!....glenna (tryitall)

Welcome to Oklahoma. I see that you have found out about the Ardmore and Pauls Valley quilt shops. There is a really nice store in Gainesville Tx which isn't that far from Ardmore called Passtime Fabrics and if you go east out of Gainesville on hwy 82 you will go to Whitesboro, Tx where Kalidyscope(sp) then in Whitesboro if you go so on 377 about 8 miles you will come to Collinsville and they have just put in a new quilt shop and the people who run it are great. I think it is called The Sewing Boutique. Last but not least is Betsy's in Antlers, Ok. It is fantastic, reasonable, fun, big, everyone is friendly and every other nice thing that I can think of saying. It takes awhile at Betsy's so plan on going and spending the best part of a day. Hope this helps you.
