I will be in Denver-Estes Park area in late September for a wedding. Never been there before. Can you recommend quilt shops to visit?

Here's some to try out:
In Estes Park: http://www.cottageblissestes.com/index.html http://www.mtnladyquilt.com/ Denver area: http://www.threadbearquilts.com/ (Longmont) http://www.greatamericanquilt.com/ (Denver) http://www.fabricexpressions.com/ (Littleton/Denver) http://www.harriethargrave.com/default.asp (Wheatridge/Denver) http://www.emilyssewing.com/ (Lakewood/Denver) Need any more suggestions? Along the "front range" of Denver and into Wyoming there are many very nice shops. You'll have a good time exploring, I'm sure! |
In Addition, you might want to check out:
Creative Needle - Broadway & Ridge Road Holly's Quilt Cabin - County Line Road and Holly Tomorrow's Heirlooms - 132nd & I-25 Sewciety - Castlerock, Co High Prairie Quilts, Parker, CO I frequent Great American as well as all of the above when I am in their areas. I have not been to Sewciety, but know people who have. There are several nice shops down in the Colorado Springs area too that I have been to & like very much. Happy Shopping & Quilting, Susan |
Tomorrow's Heirlooms is across from a new Walmart. great store. i'm in Broomfield and go there often.

If you're there long enough look for the Denver Museum, they had a permanent quilt collection when I was there in the 90s Also the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum, which in addition to quilt exhibits has a neat shop

I was just in Denver Fabrics a few months ago and have a pretty good supply of quilting 100% fabric.
all the shops mentioned are good I frequent them all ... |
I was in Denver last week visiting my son and family. I always make a trip to The Great American Quilt Factory when I am there. We also went to Golden to the quilt museum. Each time that I have been there, they are displaying different quilts.
