My husband & I just made a quick trip to Bryan, Texas Quiltworks, had m&m's, bottled water and a quilt pattern for the favor. It is a beautiful shop and I spent $30+ I won't get to too many shops especially if I keep spending money at each one. I did use my $5 off coupon, and folks were quite nice. They had a man-cave for hubbies who didn't want to shop, allowed me to get to look longer. Disappointed I didn't realize there was also the Quilt show at the convention center, didn't have time for it, & if I had known, probably would have gone there & just a quick visit to the shop.
Not sure where I'll go next, but hopefully another short road trip next weekend.

Wow, now THAT doesn't sound like ANY fun! and that's not what the Shop Hop owners like to see, either ! and all just for a slim chance at some prizes?? Think of the gas $$$ !! Like the old saying goes, it's not about the destination, it's the journey we need to enjoy. :)
