For those who may be wondering what to do over the weekend there is a local quilters exhibition at
St Georges Hall, Harnham, Salisbury, Saturday 17th September and Sunday 18th September.

As well as the exhibiton I understand that they have a couple of shops putting up stalls, refreshments on sale and raffles including one for a 'Help the Heroes' Quilt.

If you find a woman called Dorothy W. say hello and that her neice in Ireland sends her regards.

Aunt Dot is the one who by showing her lovely quilts over skype (internet) got me started on my first quilt a few months ago.

The quilting group she belongs to is called In-Spire stitchers. Her husband has just made them a website http://sites.google.com/site/inspiredstitchers/home.
