On Maui ... it's not far from the airport on Dairy Road .... if you're going to Kihei or Kaanapali you'll be on Dairy Road
you will pass Costco, K-Mart on your left, this store is on right side of road ... http://www.fmart.com/
Maui is my favorite vacation spot ... enjoy a few sunsets for me !! Aloha !

I was going to list the quilt shops that I go to in Maui but I found this web site so you can check them out. I have found great fabric while on the island. http://apassionatequilter.typepad.co...i-quilt-shops/

I went to one on Oahu but I can't remember the name. I believe warehouse was in the title and it wasn't too far from Honolulu near a shopping mall. Got some really cute prints for quilting and more for apparel! I decided to make my own dress and not pay the outrageous prices they wanted in the stores!

Lived there for a couple years ago and there are not that many quilt shops there. My favorite is Kaimuki Dry Goods, 1144 10th Avenue # 100 Honolulu 808-734-2141. It's less than 10 mins. from downtown Honolulu. They usually have a good selection of sale fabrics and as well as a wonderful selection of asian, batiks and hawaiian fabrics. I always buy there when I'm visiting!

On the main drag of Honolulu, there is a quilt shop warehouse that is nice. Not cozy and special, but has lots of fabric. Now on Maui, I did not go to the one on Dairy Road, I went to one further down in Kehi, it is a lovely shop. It is called Maui Quilt Shop. Lots of "Hawaain" applique patterns, and fabulous batiks. I think it is is in the town Lahina right on the coast line. Worth going to. Loved the ladies there and were so helpful. Took an Hawaain applique class while there for $10 plus kit.

I'm going too!!! I leave next Tuesday for three weeks...two on Oahu and 1 on the Big Island. I did a quick search and got a whole page of quilt shops between the two Islands...I added the above suggested too. My DH wants to bring an extra suitcase just for fabric purchases. I told him not to tempt me...I will fill it up! I'm interested in adding more to the list or if anyone has suggestions for the Big Island, I'd love it! Have fun! Here are the shops I found on Oahu:
