I was wondering if anybody knows about any shops or shows in Orlando FL during first week of May. Thank you for any info

Hello - I just read your inquiry about quilt shops in the Orlando area. I live close to Tampa, but have shopped at Orlando quilt shops in the past. My suggestion to you is to get a copy of the May/June Country Register (Florida edition). This free newspaper is available at stores/shops that advertise in each issue. My local shops don't get their supply until the very end of April or early May. I have enjoyed this paper for years and have noticed that quilt shops have become the major advertisers, INCLUDING any quilt events/shows listed by date and location. I would be glad to send you a copy in the mail as soon as they hit the shops. I suggest you also go to www.quiltshops.com and find SOME of the Florida shops. Happy Traveling! Blessings, Jennie

There is a quilt show in Lakeland on March 17th 18th and 19th. Just type in lakeland quilt show in march and the site will come up. Can't go no one to go with and don't like going alone. Besides I can only go on the 19th.
