The Expo's are great fun, but they are a bit different than traditional quilt shows. There will be some exhibits of quilts/artwork but it's mainly about the vendors (unless it's being run in conjuction with a regional quilt show). And there's nothing wrong with that. :thumbup:

I'm going to see if I can swing by for a quick 2 day trip up Lakeland.

I don't know if it's too far from you up north, but the Waterloo Quilt Festival (held the end of May near Kitchener) was the most fun out of all the shows I've ever been to. It was like a scavenger hunt trying to hit all the venues.

I winter in Winter Haven. My husband has to take me to a quilt show to make up for all the car shows at Old Town that he takes me to. Do you have the address. We have a GPS.
