I have had very few responses. But, I will get a meeting room for us on Feb. 19th and let everyone know. Those of us who can make it will be there. I will send instructions to the meeting site too. Be sure to bring some of your quilts. That should be fun.

Our Guild, North Cities is located in north Orange Co. in Placentia. We are just off of the 91 fwy between the 60 on the north and the 91 on the south. We meet at Placentia Presby. Church. I go to church there and we could get a very large area or a smaller area. Both have full kitchens and I don't think the church would charge me anything. We could have our meeting as a potluck or have someone cook for us and charge a small fee or go out to any number of closeaby restaurants that vary from Marie Callendars, Don Joses to Subway, Carls Jr., McDonalds. We could have Subway make us a super long sandwish or anything else. My husband cooks for two day-long quilting classes a year and he would be free.
I don't know what anyone would prefer, but I would be willing to follow through with setting it up if you want me to. I am the Sect. of my guild and the facility liaison for it and am a fairly normal person.
We could send all info via this site I think. Please let me know what you think. What about the week of Feb. 14th thru 19. I think the church rooms would be free at any of those times. We would just have to choose a date and just see who can come. Maybe meet about 10 a.m. to 2: p.m. for a first time and maybe just introduce ourseslves and bring some show and tells??

I am in Westminster, between 405 and 22 Placentia wouldn't be far for me either.
I can't make the Feb. one. I will be out of town. Hopefully I can make the next one you do.
Also want to put it out there, I do a monthly crafting event in the city of Orange. near the 22/57/5 interchange. It started out as a scrapbooking event. Now we have a bunch of different crafts being done. If you are interested PM for more info.

I am in Ramona (North-east San Diego) and I don't drive-if someone in my area would be driving, I would be happy to pitch in for gas etc-I would love to get together to meet other quilters! I recently moved back to the U.S. from over-seas and don't really know anyone around here! Please keep me in the loop!
